VStättVO
VStättVO Tribune – Assembly Venue Ordinance for safe event facilities with Bender
What is the VStättVO?
The VStättVO (Assembly Venue Ordinance) is a state law regulating the safety, operation, and construction of assembly venues. It applies in a similar form in all German states and defines requirements for escape routes, seating distances, capacity limits, and operating procedures. Grandstands with a certain number of visitors fall within its scope.
VStättVO-compliant grandstands from Bender
Bender Tribünen designs all mobile grandstands in full compliance with the German Ordinance on Places of Assembly (VStättVO). This means standard-compliant escape route widths, sufficient exits, standard-compliant seating spacing, and complete documentation for the authorities. Bender is familiar with country-specific variations of the VStättVO and adjusts the design accordingly. All Bender grandstands are also TÜV-certified.
Approval procedure according to the Assembly Place Ordinance
Events subject to the German Ordinance on Places of Assembly (VStättVO) require official approval. Bender provides all necessary documentation: structural stability certificate, site plan, seating plan, and safety concept.
Differences between the federal states
Since the regulations governing public assembly venues (VStättVO) have been implemented differently in each federal state, requirements can vary slightly depending on the venue. Bender has the expertise to take these differences into account and adapt grandstands accordingly.
