What is a V-Arena?
The V-shaped arena is an arena shape whose grandstand wings open towards the stage or playing area. Its floor plan resembles the letter V. This shape allows for a particularly close connection between the audience and the action. The front seats on both sides are very close to the stage, offering an intense, atmospheric experience.
V-Arenas by Bender – maximum proximity to the action
Bender creates V-shaped arenas using a modular system. The angles of the V-shape are individually tailored to the stage or playing field geometry to ensure optimal sightlines from all seats. The opening angle can be configured to be narrower or wider, depending on requirements. Optionally, the legs can be equipped with roofs.
Sightlines in the V-Arena
The V-shape places special demands on sightline planning, as spectators at the outer ends have different perspectives. Bender optimizes the C-value for all seats.
Expandability of the V-Arena
The V-Arena can be expanded with additional grandstand sections – for example, by adding a rear grandstand behind the stage. In this way, a V-Arena can be transformed into a full O-Arena.
