Substructure
Grandstand substructure – load-bearing basic system for safe spectator facilities from Bender
What is the substructure of a grandstand?
The substructure is the load-bearing base system beneath the usable floor area. It absorbs all loads and transfers them to the ground. It consists of vertical supports, base frames, and connecting elements to the floor. A precise substructure is essential for a level and stable floor surface.
Bender substructures – robust and modular
Bender's modular substructure is made of high-strength aluminum and steel. It is designed for all standard load cases and can be flexibly adapted to various grandstand configurations and terrain conditions. Height-adjustable support feet allow for compensation of uneven ground. The substructure's stability has been fully verified.
Height adjustment via adjustable support feet
Adjustable support feet allow for height compensation on uneven terrain. Bender individually measures the required compensation range for each installation location.
Substructure and floor loads
The substructure transfers all loads to defined contact points. Support plates distribute these loads across the floor area. Bender designs the substructure and foundation as an integrated system.
