What is a seating stand?
A seated grandstand is a grandstand where all spectator areas are equipped with seats. Compared to standing areas, seated grandstands offer significantly more comfort, are suitable for all age groups, and allow for longer periods of time spent in the stands. They are the standard configuration for higher-level sporting events, concerts, and cultural events, and are often a prerequisite for admission to top-level competitive sporting events.
Bender seating stands – comfort at the highest level
Bender grandstands offer seating options ranging from a few hundred to tens of thousands of seats. The modular system allows for configurations as a simple single stand, a U-shaped arena, or a complete O-shaped arena. Seating options include standard shell seats, folding seats, and VIP chairs – tailored to the desired comfort level. All seating options are TÜV-certified, compliant with the German Ordinance on Places of Assembly (VStättVO), and meet the DIN EN 13200 standard.
Seating grandstand with roof
On request, Bender combines seating stands with roofing systems – pitched roof, grandstand roof or arena roof – to protect visitors from rain and sun exposure and significantly increase comfort.
