Fasteners
Grandstand fasteners – screws, bolts and connectors for the modular system
What are connecting elements used in grandstand construction?
Fasteners are elements that connect the components of a load-bearing structure: screws, bolts, connectors, wedges, and clamps. In modular grandstand construction, tool-free connectors are the preferred fasteners because they allow for rapid assembly. The quality of the fasteners is crucial for the stability of the overall structure.
Fasteners in the Bender system
The Bender system uses high-quality plug connectors as its primary connection element. These are made of stainless steel or high-alloy aluminum, statically designed for maximum operating loads, and secured against incorrect assembly by their unique geometries. Bender regularly inspects all connectors for wear and replaces them preventively.
Static analysis of the fasteners
All fasteners are checked for their load-bearing capacity in the structural stability analysis. Fasteners are often the most critical components of a structure and require special care.
Wear and inspection
Fasteners are subject to increased wear due to repeated assembly and disassembly. Bender inspects all fasteners after each use and replaces worn parts preventively.
