DIN EN 13200
DIN EN 13200 grandstands – standard-compliant spectator facilities for safe major events
What does DIN EN 13200 regulate?
DIN EN 13200 is the European standard for spectator facilities at sporting events and public events. It establishes mandatory minimum requirements for seat dimensions and row spacing, railing heights and impact loads, escape route widths and evacuation times, step heights and sight lines, as well as the calculation of the C-value. The standard applies to temporary and permanent spectator facilities throughout Europe and forms the basis for official approval.
