What is a certification in grandstand construction?
Certification is the official confirmation by a recognized testing body that a product or system meets the requirements of a specific standard or specification. In grandstand construction, certifications are issued by accredited testing engineering firms or testing organizations such as TÜV. They are important documents for authorities and event organizers.
TÜV certification and testing at Bender
All Bender grandstand systems have been tested and certified by TÜV. This independent confirmation gives event organizers and authorities maximum assurance that all standards are met. Furthermore, all temporary structures are regularly inspected by accredited testing engineering firms, and the results are documented in the inspection log.
Importance of the TÜV inspection
TÜV is a globally recognized testing organization. A TÜV inspection independently confirms that a system is correctly designed, calculated, and built. For many event permits, proof of a TÜV inspection is helpful or even required.
International certifications
For international events, other testing organizations may be required. Bender has international certification experience and can also provide the necessary documentation for events outside of Germany.
