Anchor point
Anchor point grandstand – statically tested attachment points for rigging and technical loads
What is an anchor point in grandstand construction?
An anchor point is a defined, statically tested point in the grandstand structure to which loads, safety cables, or technical suspensions can be attached. The maximum permissible point load, the direction of the acting force, and the safety factor are specified in the structural stability analysis.
Anchor points in the Bender system
Bender's modular system can be equipped with defined anchor points for various applications. Typical uses include mounting sound systems, floodlight projectors, camera cranes, or advertising banners. Each anchor point is individually calculated and documented in the stability analysis.
Maximum point loads and safety factors
Anchor points must not be overloaded. Bender specifies the maximum permissible point load and the permissible load direction for each anchor point.
Coordination with event technology
For complex lighting technology or large sound systems, Bender coordinates anchor point positions and capacities with the sound and lighting planner at an early stage.
