In July 2009 the world's elite of university sports from 140 countries is going to meet in Belgrade, where the Bender GmbH is going to equip the event with its grandstands. This year's festival takes place at the impressive castle of Schwerin in Northern Germany. 15 years ago the festival has been an insider tip for opera lovers but evolved to an international very well known festival. In front of this imposing background it was Bender's wish to match the grandstands with the festive setting for the more than 1900 visitors per event. The Valencia Formula 1 Grand Prix is one of the two new races on the F1 2008 calendar. Recently, the city presented its plans for a newly built street circuit along this Spanish city's impressive harbour. The track will be about 5.4 kilometres long and can be proud of having 25 curves. 26 grandstands with a capacity of more than 120.000 seats will be placed along the circuit. Every two years the world's best pyrotechnics meet for a unique competition at the castle of Chantilly near Paris. Here they draw fantastic pictures of coloured explosions on the nightly dark sky.

Bender GmbH has been supporting the Kraichgau Triathlon right from its start. With the stand in the target area, different camera towers and a construction for 2000 athletes cycles, Bender is committed to this event which has, within only three years, become one of Germanys most popular triathlons.

Bender Stands has been commissioned to provide seating and standing places for the World Gymnaestrada 2007 in Dornbirn. Preparations for this major event in June/July 2007 are already well under way. More than 35 individual stands which provide space for approx. 30000 spectators are to be built. The project presents an exceptional logistical challenge for the company.

The company Bender-Tribünen is continually facing new challenges. And the FIA GT in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, is certainly one of them! This car race takes place in the city centre, around the parliament. Our company supplies a large part of the spectator infrastructure which includes seating for more than 70000, pedestrian bridges, pit lanes with covered VIP area and fencing. In 2007, this is probably one of the biggest projects of its kind in the whole of Europe. With approx. 100 HGV transporting material over 1900 km, this is a record major project, once again proving Benders services!
